The Hopi Prophecies If we dig precious things from the land we will invite desaster. Near de day of purification there will be cobwebs spun back and forth in the sky. A container of ashes might one day be thrown from the sky, which could burn het land and boil the oceans.
Koyaanisqatsi betekent 'Life out of Balance' bij de Noord-Amerikaanse Hopi-indianen. Samen met componist Philip Glass en cameraman / co-scenarist Ron Fricke maakte Godfrey Reggio in 1982 zijn beroemde visuele essay over het leven in Noord-Amerika.
